Hailee Steinfeld Reveals How Josh Allen Almost Cursed Her Relationship With 0 ‘Bad Omen’ Gift

Put aside Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, because Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen are coming for the NFL power couple crown.

While they may not make headlines every time they step out together, or every time Steinfeld gets splashed by the Jumbotron at Highmark Stadium, it’s clear there’s a lot of love between the pair.

So much so, that Buffalo Bills quarterback Allen went above and beyond to make sure his relationship wasn’t cursed last Christmas.

Steinfeld made the revelation in his newsletter this week, explaining how the two got the same gift in 2023.

“I got this knife for Josh last year for Christmas because cooking is something we like to do together,” Steinfeld wrote in the latest issue of Beau Society.

“For Christmas he got me… the same thing in a different color!

“After we exchanged our knives, he told me that there is an old woman’s story that if you give a knife to your partner you have to pay for it, otherwise it means the breakup of a relationship . So we swapped quarters so we wouldn’t have that bad omen.”

The knife in question costs about $430, which is small change for Allen, who has a six-year, $258 million deal with the Bills.

She has been dating Steinfeld since last year.

While the quarterback has often been tight-lipped about their relationship, he was candid about the 27-year-old star ahead of the 2024 NFL season.

“We love love,” she said in August, after the couple went Instagram official the previous month.

Steinfeld doesn’t show up on the big screen at Highmark Stadium as much as Swift does when watching Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs, but he reportedly attends almost every Bills game in silence.

Buffalo is 4-2 this season and will host the Tennessee Titans on Sunday in what will be a historic game for Allen.

The 28-year-old quarterback will make his 100th NFL start, and he could also have a new receiver to throw to in newly acquired Amari Cooper.

“It’s been a pretty good couple of days,” said Allen, who has a 67-32 record.

“We all know the story of where he came from, college and no offers and this and that.

“It’s gone by so fast. And I still feel like I’m the same kid who dreamed of playing in the NFL.

“And I get to live my dream. It’s something I’ll never take for granted.”
