EPL: He’s very calm: Petit reveals concern for Arteta after Arsenal defeat by Bournemouth

Former French player Emmanuel Petit has expressed his concern about Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta’s behavior against Bournemouth.

Petit, a former Arsenal midfielder, insisted Arteta was very calm and believes the Spaniard was not seen on the bench.

Arsenal had the chance to go top of the Premier League on Saturday but instead suffered their first defeat of the season as Bournemouth ran out 2-0 winners at the Vitality Stadium.

The Gunners were also shown a red when William Saliba was sent off for denying Evanilson a scoring chance.

“Even Mikel Arteta looked calm on the bench today,” Petit told Premier League Productions.

“He generally calls his players to show energy all the time and tries to impact his players and talk to them every second.

“But today he seemed very calm,” he added.
