While fans around the world showered her with love, her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan also refrained from his regular blog posts for special occasions, further fueling the speculation.

Amidst these ongoing rumours, an old interview with Aishwarya has resurfaced where she shared insights about her relationship with Abhishek and the importance of communication. “There is a lot of adjustment, a lot of give and take. There will be agreements and disagreements. But it is important to maintain communication. It’s something I’ve always believed in,” she told Filmfare.

She added, “Abhishek was wonderful to respect that. Communication is extremely important in a relationship. Doesn’t everything start with friendship? What is friendship about? I’m not one of those people who say, “Okay, close it for today and don’t take it tomorrow.” If it has to go tomorrow, then it will go tomorrow. And if you can close the chapter today, great! But none of them fit into a regulation. There is no finality in looking at each day. You need to be open about how you share your time together. It also means respecting and being sensitive to your partner.”

Aishwarya and Abhishek divorce rumours

On November 1, fans noticed silence from Amitabh, Abhishek and Shweta Bachchan as none publicly acknowledged Aishwarya’s birthday. This lack of celebration led to chatter online, with some fans puzzled by the apparent change.

On Reddit, fans have discovered old tweets from Amitabh Bachchan that show a different tone in recent years. In 2010, Amitabh expressed his gratitude to fans for birthday wishes for Aishwarya, tweeting, “T172 – First of all, thank you all for wishing Aishwarya on her birthday!! Pass it on to her… she thanks everyone… love.”

Another tweet mentioned a celebratory family dinner: “T171 -….family dinner at Chinese in Taj where the function was held… and brought Aishwarya’s birthday… feel good about the day….”

The Bachchans’ silence has fueled speculation about possible marital problems between Aishwarya and Abhishek, who have been married for 17 years and are parents to Aaradhya Bachchan.
