Alvin Kamara reacts to Saints fans leaving an early blowout loss

Many New Orleans Saints fans chose not to stay at the end of their team’s loss to the Denver Broncos on Thursday night, and Alvin Kamara doesn’t blame them for that.

After the Saints lost 33-10 to the Denver Broncos at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, Kamara told reporters there were “unacceptable things” for his team. The most obvious was the way the Saints played, but Kamara also mentioned fans leaving the game early. The star runner says he would have done the same.

“One, our game is unacceptable. And two, the dome is empty or emptying. I think I saw some fans leave in the second quarter,” Kamara said. “That’s unacceptable, but I don’t blame the fans. It depends on us, because they come to see us play and perform. When we don’t act, these are the results you get.

“But I have never experienced it. If I was a fan I’d leave too, because right now it’s just not good enough for whatever reason. We just have to figure it out.”
