Holly Willoughby shares cryptic ‘make or break’ message after Phillip Schofield’s ‘fallout’ | Celebrity News | Show and television

Holly Willoughby has shared a cryptic message about ’embracing independence’ after ‘holding back’, following speculation that former friend and co-star Phillip Schofield dumped her on his new show Cast Away.

Posting on her Instagram stories, the former This Morning star shared a message from her business account, Wylde Moon. It read: “What the Hunter Supermoon tells us in dynamic Aries is to move forward with passion.

“Filled with make-or-break vibes, it urges you to step into your power, embrace your independence, and take leadership in the area of your life that you’ve hesitated or held back.

“Now is the time to focus on what you want and own it. Believe. Embrace. Increase.”

The cryptic message comes after it was revealed that Schofield allegedly sent Willoughby a WhatsApp message saying he had “put him down” when his TV work dried up following the This Morning scandal. She also said she “couldn’t believe her TV sister would do this to her.”

Describing her controversial exit from ITV as “the biggest grenade to ever go off in your life”, she left amid a scandal that revealed a secret affair with a young crew member on This Morning.

He called the matter “senseless but not illegal” as he announced his resignation in May 2023.

Phil returned to television for the first time in 16 months in a three-part series of Cast Away on Channel 5 last month, which saw him stranded on a desert island for 10 days off the coast of Madagascar.

On the show, the former ITV presenter cheekily referenced his ex-best mate and co-presenter Holly Willoughby. He subtly imitated his well-known “okay” greeting from This Morning, following his departure from the iconic daytime show.

After Phil left, Holly had addressed morning viewers with a message that began: “First of all, are you okay?”

While having a barbecue with his wife Stephanie and their two daughters, Molly, 31, and Ruby, 28, he jokingly asked: “If you’re OK, then we’re OK and I’m OK. Are you OK?”

Holly’s name wasn’t mentioned directly, but it’s clear she was in the spotlight.
