Speaking to IndiaToday.in, Sutapa described the mesmerizing festive spirit of the Durga Puja pandal: “When we entered, the aura was something different there. Maa Durga murti (idol) was literally glowing and so bright. The loud sound of the Dhak and the bells. The most interesting thing about the whole scene was the way Purumoshai (the priest) did it aarti for Maa (Goddess Durga).”

“She was totally entertained, and we all could relate. It was such an entertaining yet fascinating scene. Thank God, my husband, Arunabha, took the video; otherwise, we wouldn’t have been able to share the video with everyone.” , he added.

Social media users could not stop praising the priest’s performance. One user said: “I was there live on BJ Block, and it was amazing to see him completely absolved in devotion.”

Another user added, “Born to be a dancer but forced to be a Thakur Moshai.”

Several users highlighted the priest’s unfiltered joy in their comments. “What’s inside will always be expressed,” said one user, while another added: “It was amazing to see. I recorded this too.”
