Campus Notes: Drug Abuse Awareness

Yamunanagar: Social Work Department of Guru Nanak Khalsa College organized an engagement activity to create awareness about drug de-addiction. Director Dr. Harinder Singh Kang emphasized the importance of these events in fostering a healthy society and addressing drug addiction, which he described as a serious problem among the youth. Dr. Hemant Mishra, Associate Professor of Social Work, spoke about the role of awareness campaigns in the fight against addiction. The event was attended by Dr. Sahib Singh, Dr. Jagat Singh and other staff members. Sardar Randeep Singh Jauhar, chairman of the governing body, has also praised the initiative.

GVM girls shine at national PPT event

Sonepat: Students of GVM Girls College bagged the third position in a national level Power Point Presentation (PPT) competition at Agarwal College, Ballabhgarh. Principal Dr Manjula Spah and Head of Institution Dr OP Paruthi congratulated Kashish and Khushi for their successful presentation on ‘Using Paper Bags: Sustainable Choices for a Greener Future’. His presentation highlighted the importance of switching to green alternatives such as paper bags to help conserve the environment.
