Hyderabad: Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University (PJTAU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Aldas Janaiah on Monday clarified that the University has canceled all its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with certain private institutions as they were found to be detrimental to the interests of the university. These MoUs have been reviewed and canceled by July 2022.

Professor Janaiah warned that some private institutions are misusing the name of PJTAU by using social media platforms and through brokers, claiming affiliation or partnership with the university and promising seats in constituent colleges of PJTAU. He warned students, parents and the general public not to fall prey to such false claims by institutions or private individuals.

The University reiterates that it has no affiliation or collaboration with any private institution in Telangana State for conducting UG Agriculture courses. The public is advised to verify the authenticity of any information prior to admission.

PJTAU will not be responsible for any consequences arising from relations with such private institutions, the press release also states.
