Daryl Dixon s3 shares first look at Stephen Merchant

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon introduced several key new players in the Season 3 trailer, including Stephen Merchant’s character.

The spin-off sequel of zombies sees Daryl, played by Norman Reedus, traveling through France where the virus originated and reuniting with his ride or death. Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride).

After the airing of the season 2 finale, the series debuted with a first clip from the third season.

Together, Daryl and Carol roam the streets of London, with an abandoned double-decker bus in the background. It wouldn’t be a surprise if there the two meet Merchant’s as-yet-unnamed survivor, carrying a rifle on his back. at the 00:03 mark in the teaser here.

Speaking of joining the zombie franchise on his InstagramMerchant said he was “thrilled to be a part of this universe”.

Merchant isn’t the only newcomer battling walks this time around. In September of this year, Eduardo Noriega, Óscar Jaenada and Alexandra Masangkay were cast as series regulars for season three.

In another scene in the teaser, Daryl and Carol have a heart-to-heart by the fire, with Daryl saying, “I was ready to give up. I thought everything was over”.

Carol replies, “You and me both.”

Daryl Dixon will provide more than a change of scenery next season.

Along with the mission in London, the protagonists are also expected to enjoy the warmer climate in Spainwhere production has moved for at least some of the new episodes.
