Davante Adams reveals NFL teams he was interested in before Jets trade, and shock option not on his list

Davante Adams was traded to the Jets this week, but now he’s shared the other teams that were on his list.

The 31-year-old wide receiver wanted out of Las Vegas early in his third season with the Raiders and got his wish when he reunited with close friend Aaron Rodgers in New York.

But in appearance Up and Adams from FanDuel TV with Kay Adams (no relation) on Thursday, the player shared that there are three other franchises he has interest in joining: the Bills, Steelers and Saints.

“These are the ones that got involved, these are the ones that I wrote on a piece of paper and gave to the general manager,” he said, after Kay Adams mentioned the reports linking him to those teams.

However, he said the Kansas City Chiefs were not on his wish list of teams

Conversely, Adams also revealed that the Chiefs – who have been decimated by injuries at wide receiver – were not on his list.

However, the new Jets star said his “number one choice” was to end up in New York.

On Tuesday, Adams was sent to the Jets in exchange for a conditional third-round pick.

The next day, Adams participated in his first Jets practice since joining their new franchise.

Although he had been out with a hamstring problem the last three weeks with the Raiders, he told reporters after practice that he “will be able to roll” this weekend.

The Jets, who fell to 2-4 after losing to Buffalo on Monday, will travel to Pittsburgh on Sunday night to get their season back on track.

Still, Adams will need some time to adjust to his new surroundings, as Rodgers said his close friend is staying with him.
