On March 23, 2018, police found David Reiss dead in his home in Minnesota, and his wife was nowhere to be found. It was later discovered that David’s body had multiple gunshot wounds and $11,000 was missing.

Upon further investigation, it was found that his wife Lois Reiss had murdered him and fled with the money. Reiss continued her career, during which she gambled, embezzled and killed Pamela Hutchinson to steal her identity, until April 19, when police finally arrested her.
