England footballer Kyle Walker files divorce papers with wife Annie Kilner amid scandal

Kyle Walker’s wife Annie Kilner has reportedly served the English footballer with divorce papers, marking the latest chapter in their tumultuous relationship.

According to sources, Kilner, 31, has launched legal proceedings to end their marriage, seeking half of Walker’s £27million fortune. The pair’s relationship has been strained following Walker’s romance with Instagram influencer Lauryn Goodman, with tensions rising in recent months.

A source revealed: “Kyle was shocked when he got the papers. They are discussing next steps but this could be Annie showing her strength.”

Walker, 34, and Kilner, who were childhood sweethearts, split last year after it was revealed Walker fathered a second child with Goodman. The Manchester City star admitted to making “stupid choices” but the couple stayed together for a while, even welcoming their fourth child in April.

Despite efforts to reconcile, Kilner’s frustration grew after learning of the financial support Walker had been providing Goodman. Court documents showed he had spent significant sums on housing and amenities. Sources close to the couple suggest that Kilner’s decision to file for divorce may have been influenced by these revelations, although it is not yet known if the couple will officially separate.

Friends of the couple said the divorce battle could get “ugly” as both sides consult lawyers.
