Viral video shows how to make tea in air fryer, internet reacts

Air fryers seem to have become a common kitchen appliance in various parts of the world. Many people enjoy experimenting with different types of air fryer recipes. From simple appetizers to decadent desserts, we have videos showing a wide range of foods that can be made with this appliance. But some experiments have gone too far. Recently, a clip showed a woman trying to make a cup of tea in a deep fryer. Yes, you read that right!

In @itsmebadmomm’s reel, we see the woman place what appears to be an empty ceramic cup/cup into the basket of a deep fryer. Add a tea bag inside and top it off with cold tap water. Add about 2 teaspoons of sugar to the cup. Close the fryer with the cup inside and set the timer for 6 minutes. After a while, he opens it to show how the tea leaves have started to turn color. She suggests adding a little milk while it’s “still setting.” He does so and then puts the cup back in to continue heating. Later, he takes out the basket to show us the prepared tea. She seems impressed with how it turned out. Watch the full video below:
