Terming the recent terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir as “unfortunate”, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday said there was no security lapse, adding that the security forces were giving a befitting reply to the terrorists.

Speaking to reporters in UP’s Kanpur, Singh said, “This is not an issue of security lapses. Compared to previous times, attacks have been reduced. Our security forces are on alert, such a situation will come from there (JK) terrorist activities. it will be completely destroyed and JK will develop rapidly.”

“The attacks that took place were unfortunate, our security forces are also giving a befitting response, so many terrorists have been killed,” he said.
