Six indicted in connection with East Side murder | News, Sports, Jobs

YOUNGSTOWN — Six men were charged Thursday either directly or in connection with the Oct. 17 shooting death of Reynaldo Hernandez, 24, whose body was found Oct. 18 on Liberty Road near Wardle Avenue in the area of ​​Mount Hope Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Youngstown. East side.

Three men of the six — Andre K. Bailey, 40; Vincent Marbley, 59; and Eddie Winphrie, 41 — were indicted on two counts each of aggravated murder with a weapon specification and one count each of aggravated robbery with a weapon specification, tampering with evidence and being a felon in possession of a firearm. Fire.

Three other men were indicted on other charges in the case. All indictments were in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.

They are Daniel Ramsey, 43, of New Castle, Pa., for involuntary manslaughter with a weapon and tampering with evidence; Shawn Jones, 35, for one count of tampering with evidence; and Richard W. Lightner, 40, on one count of tampering with evidence.

A Youngstown police report suggests Hernandez was shot on Bott Street on the East Side on Oct. 17.

Marbley and Winphrie appear to be out of custody. The other four are in the Mahoning County Jail awaiting trial.
