The EastEnders star, 53, revealed in an episode of the Suddenly Single podcast that she has been single for a few months and is focusing on herself.

She explained that after the end of her relationship with her toy lover Tom and the breakdown of her marriage ten years earlier, she feels she owes it to herself to explore life as a single woman.

“I’m in a relationship with myself and my kids, and my ex who I was with for six and a half years is still a very close friend.”

She told the podcast that she’s never tried them and isn’t sure she’d want to.

Tamzin explained that it’s much more based on someone’s energy and vibes than swiping across a screen and trying to judge someone by their images.

She said: “I don’t know where to start with dating… I always go with somebody’s energy and vibes and somebody’s aura and what they’re like. How do you do that by looking at a screen?’

And for now Tamzin just isn’t interested, but she hasn’t completely ruled out getting back on the dating scene.
