Father John Misty announces 2025 US tour

Father John Misty has announced a new series of US tour dates that will take place in the winter of 2025. He has also formally shared the new song “She Cleans Up”, which he previously leaked on his Soundcloud profile last month .

The new dates come in support of Father John Misty’s upcoming album Mahashmashanawhich comes out everywhere on November 22. They arrive ahead of their previously announced UK/EU tour dates, which are being reduced to the first two weeks of April.

Father John Misty’s 2025 US tour kicks off on February 12th in Chattanooga, Tennessee and continues throughout the month with shows in Atlanta, Nashville, Louisville, Detroit, Toronto, Boston, New York, Philadelphia and more. The run ends with a show in Washington DC on March 1st. Destroyer will open every date except the tour opener in Chattanooga. Check out the full list of Father John Misty 2025 tour dates below.

Tickets for Father John Misty’s 2025 US tour will go on sale first for select dates via a Live Nation presale that drops Wednesday, October 16th at 12pm local time (use the code TIME). Meanwhile, an artist presale will also begin on Wednesday, October 16th at 10:00 AM local time via Father John Misty’s website (use the code honey bear). Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 18th at 10:00am local time via Ticketmaster.

“She Cleans Up” is the latest single from MahashmashanaFather John Misty’s first album since 2022 Chloë and the next 20th century. With a bluesy tone, playful instrumentation and a fair amount of cowbells, the song has a more nostalgic presentation compared to the previously released epic “Screamland”. He references Mary Magdalene, demons and the devil, and other religious imagery throughout, echoing his signature lyrical style. Stream “She Cleans Up” below.
