Liam Gallagher has revealed he can’t remember hosting a show with Matthew Perry in the 90s.

The admission was made on Twitter after Gallagher collapsed SNL sketch mocking the return of Oasis.

The skit, with Sarah Sherman playing him and James Austin Johnson playing brother Noel, poked fun at the feud between the two brothers.

The couple appeared in a Weekend Update segment with Colin Jost, which UK fans mocked endlessly on Twitter.

One tweeted: “Should be a major cash prize for anyone who can get over 1 minute.”

Another said: “This is the worst episode I’ve ever seen in my life. Not a smile. Time to pull the plug or get new talent.”

Of all people, Specsavers tweeted: “Do you care to let us know who did this please.”

Gallagher then responded to the sketch by saying, “They’re meant to be comedians.”

When asked again the next day, he called the scheme “disturbing”.

Another fan, however, was curious as to how Liam found the accommodation SNL with the late Matthew Perry.
