Brian Groo arrested: Horsham man accused of raping 10-month-old boy and distributing child pornography

HORSHAM, Pa. (WPVI) — A Horsham, Montgomery County man is facing multiple felony charges Thursday night, including the rape of a child.

Police arrested Brian Groo, 24, on Wednesday after a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The agency said two videos of apparent child sexual abuse, including a video of a boy being sexually abused, were uploaded to the messaging platform “Kik”.

Investigators say they traced the username “Zenshadowsol” and IP address to Groo’s home, where they found a cell phone hidden with material allegedly associated with the cyber tip. The video involving the boy was determined to be that of a 10-month-old child that the defendant had access to, investigators said.

Groo is charged with rape of a child, involuntary deviant sexual act, indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor, endangering the welfare of children, photographing/filming/computer rendering child sexual act, disseminating sex act photos/films with children and other fees.

He is being held on $2 million bail.
