Taking over a motorcycle that left the officer injured

CLEVELAND (WJW) – A video just released for FOX 8 I-Team shows what happened when a large group of dirt bikes took over downtown and a Cleveland police officer was injured.

A City of Cleveland security camera captured dozens of dirt bikes swarming the Detroit-Superior Bridge.

The gunman outside the school was an off-duty officer: the I-Team

Police dashcam video also shows officers arresting a rider after they say he hit and dragged an officer.

The incident took place in July. The video linked to it has now been released.

You see a large crowd of dirt bikes traveling on the Detroit-Superior Bridge, even though the officers were there in patrol cars with emergency lights flashing.

The video also shows officers chasing and arresting a rider still on the bike who starts to leave.

The vehicles pulled from the Cuyahoga River are not related to the Keshaun Williams case, police said

After he is taken to the ground, you hear him say, “I’m sorry. I didn’t want to. I’m sorry. I just landed on the throttle and it just went. I’m sorry. I didn’t mean that. I just landed on the throttle and it took off.”

Cuyahoga County prosecutors charged Andrew Fusco. Records show he is pleading not guilty.

Another hearing was set for mid-November.
