A businessman from Punjab gifted his contractor a Rolex watch worth 1 crore for his exceptional work on his large 9 acre property. Gurdip Dev Bath, who commissioned the sprawling property, said contractor Rajinder Singh Roopra’s commitment to “quality, speed of delivery and meticulous attention to detail” inspired him to make the generous gesture.

Crafted from 18-carat yellow gold, the watch, a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller, features an Oyster bracelet crafted with robust gold links.

It also has a champagne colored dial.

The project near Zirakpur in Punjab resembles a modern fortress.

Over a period of two years, Roopra, a contractor from Shahkot in Punjab, managed a daily workforce of over 200 workers to complete the sprawling property on time.

“This is not just a house; it is a statement of grandeur, carefully designed and constructed to reflect a timeless elegance,” said Bath.

“Her commitment to deadlines, coupled with an outstanding eye for detail, delivered more than I could have asked for,” he said, adding that Roopra not only met but “exceeded” the family’s expectations throughout the project. .

The design, executed by architect Ranjodh Singh, features a large boundary wall that surrounds the property, making it a private fort.

The property includes expansive hallways, carefully landscaped gardens and unique architectural features that bring both style and practicality to the space.

Roopra said that working on such a large and refined project was both a challenging and rewarding experience, deserving of the cohesive efforts of the entire workforce in realizing the vision.

He said building a property of this caliber was no easy task, especially one that would embody the spirit of the Rajasthani forces.
