79 combat engagements were reported, with the Russians concentrating their attacks on three fronts

Since the beginning of the day, the number of clashes along the entire front line has increased to 79, with the heaviest fighting taking place in the Lyman, Pokrovsk and Kurakhove sectors.

This is according to a report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebookseen by Ukrinform.

“Since the beginning of the day, the enemy continued offensive actions, the number of clashes along the entire front line increased to 79. The enemy is most active in the Lyman, Pokrovsk and Kurakhove sectors,” the report said.

Sumi and Chernihiv regions are noted to be experiencing continuous artillery shelling from Russian territory, affecting border areas including Pokrovka, Bachivsk, Shalyhine, Novenke, Leonivka, Basivka, Pavlivka and Koreniok.

There were also seven air strikes on the Kursk region of Russia, during which the enemy dropped 13 aerial bombs.

In Kharkiv districtRussian forces continue their assault around Vovcensk, where two attacks have already been repulsed.

In Kupiansk sectorthe enemy launched seven attacks near Petropavlivka, Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, Lozova, Berestove and Vyshneve, with six engagements still in progress.

In Lyman sectorthe enemy attacked the Ukrainian positions twelve times near Katerynivka, Stepove, Hrekivka, Terny and the Serebriansky forest. Eight of those clashes have ended, while four continue, with Russian forces using unguided missiles against the Serebriansky Forest.

In Toretsk districtRussian troops twice tried to improve their position, but were repulsed by Ukrainian forces. The enemy dropped four bombs in the area around Katerynivka.

Since this morning, Russian forces have made ten attempts to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from their positions in Pokrovsk sector. Battles are still ongoing near Promin, Lysivka and Vyshneve, Myroliubivka and Mirnohrad are facing airstrikes.

Twenty-two enemy attacks were recorded near Novoselydivka, Kreminna Balka, Novodmytrivka, Ostrivske, Maksymilianivka, Antonivka and Yelyzavetivka. Kurakhove sector. Around Antonivka, the invaders concentrated their main efforts, launching ten attacks, three of which were still in progress.

In Vremivka sectortwo clashes were reported near Bohoyavlenka and Trudove, with two attacks repelled by Ukrainian defenders.

In Orikhiv sectorRussian forces launched two attacks on Novodanylivka, dropping eight guided bombs near Yurkivka, Tavriiske and Mala Tokmachka.

In Prydniprovske sectortwo enemy attacks were successfully repulsed.

On other fronts, no significant changes were observed, according to the General Staff.
