Track and field star Noah Lyles and fellow sprinter Junelle Bromfield have announced their engagement.

Lyles shared photos and videos on social media since popping the question.

people‘s Charlotte Phillip noted that the couple first started interacting in 2017, but didn’t start dating until 2022. They talked about their relationship in Fast Lane Lifestyle podcast, with Lyles saying they planned to “grow old together” (via Phillipp).

The commitment adds to a big year for Lyles.

The 27-year-old won the gold medal in the 100 meters at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, narrowly beating Jamaica’s Kishane Thompson. He also added a bronze to his medal tally with a third-place finish in the 200 meters.

Bromfield is also a decorated sprinter with a bronze medal in the 4x400m relay at the 2021 Summer Games and a silver in the same event at the 2022 World Athletics Championships.
