In an interview with And! newsthe “Needed Me” singer explained that to increase your seductive aura you must first start with yourself. She said, “This sounds cliché, but it really starts from within. You’ve heard it a million times. Just because it’s true.”

For much of her career, Rihanna has always been considered a beautiful woman. In 2011, Esquire The magazine named her the “Sexiest Woman Alive”. One thing she has never been afraid of is experimenting with her looks. We’ve seen her with a pixie cut during it Good Girl Gone Bad period, this led to her red hair, bobs, false locks, braids and has also leaned on her blonde hairstyles recently. Outside of that, she’s also had several iconic fashion moments, and at one point was named the “Queen of the Met.”

But Rihanna says that having sex appeal has nothing to do with image. “It doesn’t matter what it looks like,” she says. “There’s a presence that a woman can carry and hold when she walks into a room, being completely authentic to who she is and not caring who’s looking, that’s my kind of woman. I want to encourage as much as possible.”

Twelve years ago, when Rihanna was 20, she had a different explanation for her sex appeal. In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, she said, “I had to fake it until I made it. That’s what I had to do. I had to pretend I was so comfortable. I really wasn’t.

“I felt like I had to fake it. I just had to go. In Barbados, we have a very sexual culture,” she said, “you have to get over certain things. I’m 24 and I can do it now. Now, I can experiment and I can try certain things and I can find out for myself.”
