Crisis demand: Voestalpine makes less profit than expected

300 million euros less than in 2023/24
On Monday afternoon, the Linz-based steel group announced that expectations for the 2024/25 financial year will not be met. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization will probably stand at 1.4 billion euros. After 2023/24, Voestalpine had reported an EBITDA, as this key figure is called, of 1.7 billion euros. Decrease of around 300 million euros.
