Trump claims Harris is running a ‘campaign of hate’ and will be president of ‘all the people’

The former president Donald Trump took to social media early Wednesday morning and blasted the vice president Kamala Harrishis campaign. Trump’s comments came as the vice president unleashed inflammatory rhetoric against him over the past week, claiming he was a fascist and then calling him a “petty tyrant” during a rally in Washington, DC on Tuesday night.

“Nearly 250 years ago, America was born when we took away freedom from a petty tyrant,” Harris said at the rally at the Ellipse in the nation’s capital. “Through generations, Americans have preserved that freedom, expanded it, and in doing so demonstrated to the world that a government of, by, and for the people is strong and can endure.”

“They didn’t fight and they didn’t sacrifice and they didn’t give their lives, just to see us give up our fundamental freedoms, just to see us submit to the will of another petty tyrant,” the vice president added.

It was the latest accusation in which Harris implied without evidence that Trump would extinguish the country’s freedoms. Trump posted on social media early Wednesday morning criticizing the vice president’s inflammatory rhetoric.

“While I’m running a campaign of positive solutions to save America, Kamala Harris is running a campaign of hate,” Trump said. POSTED. “She spent all week comparing her political opponents to the worst mass murderers in history.”

The former president then referenced a comment made by President Joe Biden earlier in the day in which he called Trump supporters “garbage” while responding to a question about a comedian’s offensive joke during Trump’s Madison Square rally Sunday Garden.

“Donald Trump has no character,” Biden said Tuesday. “He doesn’t care about the Latino community. Just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a floating island of garbage.”

“The only one RUBBISH I see his supporters floating there,” Biden said. “His demonization of Latinos is unacceptable and un-American.”

“Now, on top of that, Joe Biden is calling our supporters trash,” Trump said. “You can’t lead America if you don’t love the American people. Kamala Harris and Joe Biden have shown that they are both unfit to be President of the United States.”

Trump then expanded on the diverse appeal of his campaign and supporters. He expressed his support among people of all races and proclaimed that he would be a president for everyone.

“I am proud to lead the largest, broadest and most important political coalition in American history,” said the Republican presidential candidate. “We welcome historic numbers of Latinos, African Americans, Asian Americans and citizens of every race, religion, color and creed.”

“It is my desire to be the president of all men,” he concluded.
