BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – The annual Pirates of the High Seas and Renaissance Festival comes to an end after a weekend full of entertainment.

The festival has grown in popularity over the past few years due to the uniqueness and attractions of the festival.

“We’re still all pirates. We’re still doing what we’re supposed to do. But it’s a slow down of the day. We’ve had two parades already. We’ve had fireworks every night. We’ve got a lot of entertainment today, there’s still a lot work. We have the knights on the beach. We have parlay hey, we have the players of the shadow,” said Captain Del Macrae of the White Sands.

The festival will have a closing ceremony at Captain Anderson’s Marina at 7:15pm and then end the night with fireworks at 8:30pm.
