Cracks in the blue wall? This new poll has Dems worried

The Quinnipiac Poll released Wednesday highlighted emerging challenges for Democrats, stating that “blue wall It’s showing cracks as the race tightens.” The poll shows Vice President Kamala Harris has a slight lead in pennsylvaniawhile former President Trump appears to have the edge in Michigan and Wisconsin, Axios reported.
A Detroit News poll suggests Harris may be gaining ground in Michigan, showing her with a three-point lead over Trump. Notably, 65% of Michigan residents believe Trump’s tariff plan would raise consumer prices.
A Kamala Harris official commented on this, saying that the campaign “has always expected the Blue Wall to be this close.”
David Axelrod, the mastermind behind Barack Obama’s 2008 victory, noted that while Harris made steady progress after the Sept. 10 debate, the race has now stalled. He said Harris “had a great launch, right through the convention and the debate. But in these campaigns, every time a bar is cleared, the bar gets raised. You have to raise your game and adjust the your strategy.”
Harris is relying on the so-called “blue wall” for a White House victory, especially when fighting in the Sun Belt.
Pennsylvania stands out as a crucial battleground for Harris. According to political analysts, the result in Pennsylvania could be indicative of the direction of the presidential election.
Trump recently returned to Butler, Pennsylvania, for a large rally with Elon Musk and held back-to-back events in Scranton and Reading. Instead, Harris will make his 10th visit to Pennsylvania this Monday, and his campaign reports they knocked on 100,000 doors in the state last Saturday.
