Trump didn’t expect the chaos on Election Day from his supporters

Former President Trump said Sunday that he doesn’t expect his supporters to cause chaos on Election Day.

Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” host Maria Bartiromo brought up an apparent Election Day terrorist plot. US officials said they were frustrated and asked Trump if he expected to see chaos on November 5.

“No, I don’t think so,” Trump replied. “Not on the Trump-voting side.”

US officials said last week that they foiled a plot by an Afghan national linked to ISIS to carry out a terrorist attack in the US on Election Day.

A crowd of Trump supporters entered the Capitol on January 6, 2021, delaying the certification of President Biden’s 2020 election victory.

Bartiromo asked Trump about the possibility of violence by migrants. Trump responded that he believes the biggest problem is “the enemy from within,” which he said should be handled by the military.

“We have very bad people. We have some sick, radical left-wing lunatics, and I think… it should be very easy to handle, if necessary, by the National Guard, or if it’s really necessary, by the military, because they can’t let this happen Trump said.
