Vedang Raina Says Ranbir Kapoor’s Singing Is ‘Really Bad’, Alia Bhatt Reveals ‘Rishi Kapoor Would Ask Her…’ (Credits: Instagram)

Vedang Raina is currently receiving accolades for his performance in Alia Bhatt crash Jigra. She debuted with Zoya Akhtar’s Netflix release The Archies and now he is making fans with his recent performance in the suspense thriller.

In a recent conversation, Vedang revealed that he is a big fan of it Rockstar actor Ranbir Kapoor. RK is one of the best actors in the industry today, his latest animal was a huge hit and fans are eagerly waiting for his next, Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana.

Vedang Raina praises Ranbir Kapoor

Vedang and Alia and director Vasan Bala appeared on a chat show in Lallantop and talked about their experience, bond and careers. In the show, while Vedang was singing, the host jokingly commented that Imtiaz Ali could do a Rockstar sequel with him. Vasan on this, said, “BTS for this would be much better. I have been a huge fan of Ranbir’s lip sync in Rockstar. I was very curious to always see BTS in the movie. I was curious to know if Ranbir could sing or not. His singing skills were negative, they were very bad. But that also shows what a good actor he is. As a singer, I also tried to recreate the lip syncs. Obviously, in the movie (Jigra), it was an exaggerated version, but I wanted to try to match its tone.”

To this, Alia added, “One thing Ranbir would always share is that his father would ask him to sing loudly if there was anyone who really sang songs, that was Rishi Kapoor.”

I was inspired by Shammi Kapoor: Vedang

Vedang then revealed that he was inspired by legendary actor Shammi Kapoor. “Before The ArchiesI had watched many of his videos. My character style was very similar to Elvis Presley, and I thought Shammi Kapoor suited him very well. So I was inspired by Shammi Kapoor,” he said.
