Salman Khan cancels meetings, family asks for privacy after Baba Siddique’s death

After the killing of NCP leader and former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, concerns have been raised for the safety of actor Salman Khan. While his Galaxy apartment in Bandra has seen increased security personnel stationed outside, the family has also asked many of their friends from the industry to refrain from visiting the actor.

Sources told India Today Salman Khan is devastated and in a lot of pain after losing his dear friend Baba Siddique. After returning home from the Lilavati hospital last night, the actor couldn’t sleep and has been constantly checking on Zeeshan (Baba Siddique’s son) and the family.

A source close to the Siddique family told us, “Bhai has been on the phone checking the funeral arrangements and all other details. He has also canceled all his personal meetings for the next few days.”

The sources further added that Salman’s close relatives are equally devastated by the loss. Both Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan were also very close to Baba and regulars at his Iftaar parties.

The late leader was not just a friend but almost like a family to Salman. He and Zeeshan received a warm welcome when they visited Galaxy to meet the actor. Salman, also like a true friend, rushed to be with the family after the tragic incident.
