Strictly Come Dancing fans are excited about the same reaction when week four spoilers appeared online and it’s safe to say they “didn’t expect” the outcome.

Every Saturday, an insider from the Strictly studios leaks the results on the StrictlySpoiler.com website, run by Dave Thorp. Since the results episode is taped immediately after the live show on Saturdays instead of going live the next day, its accuracy is usually spot on.

The production goes to great lengths to hide the fact that the results show is actually filmed on the same day, including a complete makeover of the stars’ wardrobes and references to “yesterday” and “last night” sprinkled throughout issue

Despite the blog’s usual warnings to viewers to take their ‘complaints to the BBC’, fans couldn’t keep quiet after learning who faced elimination and eventual dismissal from the competition, heading on social media to express their opinions.

AX, one fan wrote: “Just saw the Strictly spoiler and tbh I wasn’t expecting it. Seems unfair,” reports the Mirror.

Another shared the sentiment, saying: “I was about to be disappointed that there were strictly no spoilers, but then Dave came through!”

Meanwhile, another viewer was supportive of the result: “I agree with the result. The right couple was saved.”

This was reinforced by another commenter who felt it was the “right choice to go”.

This cascade of gossip followed an initial delay in the spoiler leaking on Saturday night (October 12), causing concern among avid viewers. Dave gave a warning: “Just a warning that it might be very late with the spoiler tonight or even tomorrow as no moles have been introduced yet.”

The mole hunter warned: “No moles never means no spoiler and I’ll post the spoiler as soon as I know, so no need to bombard me with messages on social media asking if I’ve heard it yet!”

The BBC is reportedly trying to put an end to the spoiler, with an insider saying: “Enough is enough, it’s not fair to the fans, they’re waiting to tune in to see who will be dancing together.”

Last night’s leaderboard had Dr. Punam Krishan and her partner Gorka Marquez at the bottom, while DIY SOS star Nick Knowles came second last with a score of 21.

Meanwhile, Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec topped the leaderboard with an impressive 39 points, closely followed by Jamie Borthwick and Wynne Evans with 34 points.
