Douglas police are investigating a shooting that injured one person

DOUGLAS, Ga. (WALB) – The Douglas Police Department (DPD) is investigating a shooting on Sears Street around 8:00 PM Sunday night.

Police told WALB someone was shot in that area.

The victim was then taken to a hospital in Savannah.

Douglas Police are actively investigating. Police say they do not know the identity of those involved in the shooting.
