Trump tells supporters New Mexico votes are ‘rigged’

The former president Donald Trump made a bizarre mess of his supporters in New Mexico claiming “their votes are being rigged” while urging them to keep voting for him.

On Thursday afternoon, the GOP nominee greeted thousands of supporters at a rally in Albuquerque, New Mexico, claiming his aides told him not to visit the state. Trump said he was told not to come to New Mexico because he couldn’t win the blue state for a long time.

Trump then told his supporters that “their votes are rigged,” but at the same time urged them to keep voting for him because “we can New Mexico.”

“Thank you very much, New Mexico. What a good place,” Trump told his supporters. “Look, I’m only here for one reason. They all said “don’t come”. I said, “Why?” “You can’t win New Mexico.” I said, “Look, your votes are rigged. We can win New Mexico. We can win New Mexico.”
